Today in Shanghai, Term Break & Dragon Festival 6 June 2019

MyZen.Blog Link attached.

Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu Festival, is a traditional and important celebration in China. See information attached. The hotel decorated the tables around the place and gave out ornaments, and food. I tried the banana leaf covered rice. Seriously not my thing. I learnt when a Chinese person sais ‘it is delicious’ it means to them and not necessarily for me..lol. It was nice to have term break and see more things. What I also realized was the Chinese way of marking meant most of my students had high marks according to their way of calculating. Oz marks were different.
